The oldest handbag in history

Najstarszą na świecie torebkę damską można od dziś do 18 maja oglądać na wystawie w Courtauld Gallery w Londynie.
Torebka liczy sobie około 700 lat i pochodzi z miasta Mosul w północnym Iraku.

Wykonana jest z mosiądzu , bogato inkrustowanego złotem i srebrem oraz ozdobiona scenami z życia dworskiego.
