Dziś obchodzimy w Dzień Flagi. Święto wprowadzono w 2004, ale nadal niewiele osób wywiesza flagi przed domem. Nie jesteśmy jedynym krajem, który obchodzi takie święto. Dni flagi narodowej mają też : Stany Zjednoczone, Kanada, Meksyk,Finlandia, Litwa, Ukraina i wiele innych. Oficjalnego święta flagi nie ma natomiast Szwecja ( w 1983 święto flagi zastapiono świętem narodowym) a flagi narodowe obecne są tam na codzień niemal przed każdym domem. The national flag of Poland is a horizontal bicolor. The upper stripe is white and the lower stripe is read. These colors has been officially considered the national colors of Poland since 1831. Both of them were present on the coats of arms of Poland and Lithuania, two constituent nations of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
