A city in your suitcase!

"Miasto w twojej walizce" to ciekawy pomysł pewnej Chinki, która stworzyła wizerunki najsławniejszych miast świata wykorzystując ubrania spakowane do swojej walizki. Z ubrań można stworzyć wszystko. Na przykład do budowy Wieży Eiffel'a wystarczy para rajstop.
A Chinese artist has come up with a unique way of bringing famous cities to life.
Yin Xiuzhen's creations include fabric replicas of cities such as New York, Paris, Berlin and San Francisco - made out of clothes stuffed into suitcases.
The artist turns second-hand items of clothing, such as tights, socks and T-shirts in to famous landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and The Golden Gate Bridge.
Yin came up with the idea for her "Portable Cities" project while she was waiting for her luggage to arrive in baggage collection.
She said: 'People in our contemporary setting have moved from residing in a static environment to becoming souls in a constantly shifting transience.
'The suitcase becomes the life support container of modern living.'
The artwork is designed to show how easily the modern man can travel from city to city.
