12 tons of chocolate spills on the road.

A lorry has overturned on a Polish motorway and splashed tons of liquid chocolate that is now solidifying all over the road.

The private broadcaster TVN24 showed images of an overturned truck surrounded by brown chocolate covering six lanes on the A2 motorway, blocking traffic in both directions.

Rescue officials said the liquid chocolate was solidifying as it cooled and would require large amounts of hot water to clear away.

Senior brigadier Bogdan Kowalski, with the fire brigade of Slupca, a town in western Poland, said 'the cooling chocolate is worse than snow.'

The Daily Mile to codziennie 15 minut biegania na podwórku szkolnym. Nie ma rywalizacji, każdy biegnie w swoim tempie. Nie ma potrzeby przebierania się w sportowe stroje - można biegać nawet w mundurku szkolnym. Dobrze by było pomyśleć o wprowadzeniu programu w naszych szkołach.

Dziś obchodzimy w Dzień Flagi. Święto wprowadzono w 2004, ale nadal niewiele osób wywiesza flagi przed domem. Nie jesteśmy jedynym krajem, który obchodzi takie święto. Dni flagi narodowej mają też : Stany Zjednoczone, Kanada, Meksyk,Finlandia, Litwa, Ukraina i wiele innych. Oficjalnego święta flagi nie ma natomiast Szwecja ( w 1983 święto flagi zastapiono świętem narodowym) a flagi narodowe obecne są tam na codzień niemal przed każdym domem. Przykład godny naśladowania.

The biggest mosquito in the world.

Nobody likes being bitten by mosquitoes - certainly not by this one. 

An insect expert claimed to have caught the world's largest mosquito with an astonishing 11.15cm (4.4in) wing span - about 10 times longer than that of an average mosquito.

The massive insect was caught on Qingcheng Mountain in south-west China's Sichuan Province. The mosquito was discovered by Chinese entomologist Zhao Li during a field inspection in August, 2017.  

Mr Zhao told MailOnline the insect belonged to a species called holorusia mikado, which is the world's largest mosquito species originating in Japan. 

When he first caught the mosquito, he thought it was extraordinarily big. However, he has only recently confirmed it to be the largest mosquito in the world.

Taking a five-day break from Facebook reduces people's stress levels, new research suggests.

Abstaining from the social-media site lowers the amount of the stress-hormone cortisol people produce, a study found.

Yet, the benefits may not be clear cut, with people reporting a reduced sense of wellbeing after not visiting the website for less than a week, with many being happy to check in again, the research adds.

Researchers believe quitting Facebook enables people to escape an overload of information but also cuts them off socially.  

They wrote: 'Our results suggest that the typical Facebook user may occasionally find the large amount of social information available taxing and Facebook vacations could ameliorate this stress - at least in the short term.'
